MEDITERRANEAN SEA (Dec. 09, 2016) Seaman Christopher Stevenson, assigned to the guided-missile destroyer USS Nitze (DDG 94), stands watch as aft lookout. Stevenson serves onboard Nitze as a deck seaman and is responsible for ship preservation, maintenance and deck evolutions. Nitze, deployed as part of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, is conducting naval operations in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe.
