Fore win^ of male with the inner area greatly dilated and the margin lobed, the terraen slightly sinuous towards apes and extremely oblique below vein .3, a fold below extremity of cell, veins 2, 3, 4, 5 closely approximated for some distance, then vein 2 strongly curved downwards ; an anal tuft of long spatulate scales between the paired tufts, and long lateral tufts of hair from base of abdomen, the coxaj strongly tufted with hair. 6212. Eutelia distorta, u. sp. J . Head black-brown; antennae with the basal joint white in front; thorax dark reddish brown mixed with grey, paler behind, the tegula3 with pair of dorsal black streaks ; pectus greyish ochreous ; legs black-brown with some greyish ochreous mixed ; abdomen grey with some brown mixed, dorsal and subdorsal series of black strife and a lateral spot on 3rd segment, the ventral surface with three brown streaks. Fore wing grey irrorated and suffused with red- dish and fuscous brown, the inner half paler; a slight black.
