The exterior of the Sahar Ki Masjid mosque showing the minarets and three of the five domes and arched doors. The mosque is thought to have been the private mosque of the Gujurate Sultanate and is located adjacent to the royal enclosure in the Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park in Gujurat State, west of Vadodara (formerly Baroda), India. This area is a UNESCO World Heritage site with a blend of Hindu and Moslem ancient sites from pre-historic to the 16th century. This mosque was constructed in the 15th to 16th century and is a blend of Hindu trabrate (pillar and beam) and Islamic arcuate (column and arch) construction.
