Event attendees from both Alabama A&M University and Alabama State University compete against each other in a Marine Corps pull-up challenge during the Magic City Classic, a 77-year-old college football rivalry between the two largest historically black universities in Alabama, in Birmingham, Oct. 27, 2018. The Marine Corps participates in the Magic City Classic to foster a positive relationship with the community and illustrate a parallel between the indelible fighting spirit of the Marines and the athletes who compete in the classic.
