A UK based F-35B Lightning II from 617 Squadron based at RAF Marham, paid a vist to RNAS Culdrose carrying out an overhead circuit and then two missed approaches before departing. The F-35B Lightning II is a fifth generation multi-role fighter which will eventually enter service with squadrons based an RAF Marham and embarked on the UK future aircraft carriers. There will be Royal Navy and RAF squadrons both using this aircraft type.
