Small Magellanic Cloud, infrared image. This small galaxy is located around 200,000 light years from Earth, in the constellation of Tucana. It has a diameter of some 7000 light years. This image, published in 2010, was obtained by NASA's Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer (WISE).
