Entryway of Palazzo Lercari Spinola (16th c.), ancient palace in Via degli Orefici in the historic centre of Genoa, Liguria, Italy
Built by the Lercari family in the second half of the sixteenth century by renovating some of its domus that included two towers in the thirteenth century, it is found in the Rolli Palaces from 1576, as the home of Giovanni Battista Lercari. On the sides of the entrance door there are two powerful telamoni carved in marble: the one on the left depicts Hercules with the skin of the lion Nemeo.
