Dissection.—If the dissector has the lower extremity assigned to him withthe abdomen, he should continue his work by dissecting the anterior surface ofthe thigh ; if he has the trunk region—abdomen, pelvis and thorax—he shouldtake up the dissection of the anterior parietes of the thorax. The demonstra-tion of the abdominal and pelvic viscera will now be given, as they naturallycomplete the abdomen and pelvis; but the dissector should leave them tillafter he has finished the dissection of the lower extremity or thorax, accordingto the assignment of the subject.
