ATLANTIC OCEAN (Sept. 12, 2017) Marines board an MH-60R/SH-60B Sea Hawk, attached to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 28, during humanitarian assistance efforts aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7). The Department of Defense is supporting Federal Emergency Management Agency, the lead federal agency, in helping those affected by Hurricane Irma to minimize suffering and is one component of the overall whole-of-government response effort.
