The Waits where barges and boats once waited along the bank of the River Ouse at , Cambridgeshire, England. Is also the name of the street and row of old terraced buildings which remain unchanged. is now one of the towns landing sites beside the R. Ouse used by both local and the tourist boat people. This photograph shows the the new flood defenses, the top wall, built during 2007 and the river bank is now pleasant area to sit. The Waits is also a favorite fishing site for children., the St Ives Parish Church can be seen in the background.
