Members of the 30th Naval Construction Regiment and the 143D Expeditionary Sustainment Command stand together during a memorial ceremony held at Kandahar Airfield to honor those who lost their lives on Sept 11, 2001, and to pay tribute to the servicemen and women that have paid the ultimate sacrifice in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. 30NCR, homeported in Port Hueneme, Calif., and the 143d ESC, based in Orlando, Fla., are deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
