Moncloa observatory with Victory's arch and tower, Madrid, Spain


View of the Victory's arch (built by Franco in 1956 to commemorate his victory in Spanish civil war) and Moncloa observatory (important communications tower and observatory built in 1992 and now closed to the public) from the Moncloa square in Madrid, Spain. Both are well known symbols in modern Madrid. They are situated in the northwest entrance to Madrid from the A-6 motorway in the Moncloa-Aravaca district and Ciudad Universitaria.
