KENTIA BELMOREANA CYCAS REVOLUTA This is the so-called Sago Palm, and is sometimes called the Japanese Fern Plant. The leaves, which are like Fern fronds, are remarkable for their great beauty, which is retained for years, as the leaves do not die and drop off every year. While the frond-like leaves are of most grace- ful appearance, they are also of a firm, strong texture and difiBcult to injure. They are of a dark, deep green, and look as if varnished. It may well be termed a " family plant," as it lives to a great age, growing finer and more valuable every year. As a decorative plant, both for indoor and outdoor (in summer) use, it is without a rival, for its noble and majestic habit is most impressive ; it is very hardy, its heavy glossy fronds resisting alike the gas, cold and dust. Pots should be well drained and water applied sparingly during the winter. We offer fine plants $1 each, post-paid, and specimen plants $2 to $6 each, by express at purchaser's expense. ARAUCARIA EXCELSA (Norfolk Island Pine) Various names have been suggested for this grand plant to properly convey to the mind the appearance of it. Some have called it the "Christmas Tree Palm" from its resemblance to a Christmas tree ; othershave called it the " Star Pabn," because the leaves are arranged to form a perfect star, but no descriptive name can give any adequate idea of its beauty. It has deep green feathery foliage, arranged in whorls, rising one above the other at regular distances ; its sym- metry of form, grace and beauty of foliage are unequalled in the vegetable king- dom. It is easily grown in the house, and is highly ornamental. Price, 15 to 18 in. high, otaheite orange A very beautiful pot plant, with glossy, evergreen leaves, and producing flo
