A heavy flintlock rifle,Fromery in Berlin,circa 1690. Heavy two-stage barrel,octagonal then round with a lightly swamped muzzle. Smooth bore in 19mm calibre. Flintlock with a cambered lock plate,inscribed "Fromery in Brelin"(sic)on the lower edge. S-shaped side plate. Walnut full stock. Minimal restoration. Smooth,iron furniture. Length 163 cm. Peter Fromery was active in Berlin 1686 - ca. 1700.
