A very good job has been done to make the small schools bright places, fit for social gatherings in the tiny areas where they are situated. A really good example of the type of workmanship carried out by the department is to be found in the Granite Belt Horticultural Station, which was opened only last week. Similarly, there is the new Stanthorpe Police Station, which was air conditioned to meet the rigours of the winter climate.
