Reportage at the Rinecker Proton Therapy Center in Munich, Germany. The centre has the latest equipment for proton therapy treatment. Proton therapy involves irradiating cancer cells by concentrating a proton beam on the heart of the tumour, while preserving the healthy surrounding tissue. The beds are moulded on the patients in order to keep the same position for each session.
