FOMENTATIONS (STUPES) 1. A Hot-Water Stupe is prepared as follows:Take two or three pieces of old blanket and placein the middle of a towel. Then dip this in boilingwater and wring out by twisting the ends of thetowel in the opposite directions. Carry to thebedside and then shake the flannel out to let in air;it will then retain the heat much longer.
