Beestenmarkt, Leiden, The Netherlands. Saturday 2 September, 2023. An estimated 25,000 people attended the first official ‘Pride Leiden 2023’ on Saturday after a Covid delay. Around the boat parade left for the ‘Canal Parade’ through Leiden’s historic city centre. The colourful flotilla ended around 17:00 on the Beestenmarkt, where the Pride Festival opened. On stage various well-known artists performed.
