SOME material benefit to the fishingindustry of British Columbia isbound to accrue from the delibera-tions of the International Joint FishingCommission appointed by Order-in-Coun-cil in the Fall of 1917, whose report hasjust been issued. The operations of thetwo bodies, Canadian and American,have culminated in the signing of a fish-ing treaty, the outstanding feature ofwhich is a closed season for twelve daysin the height of the fishing season forthe next six years.
