A participant in the Danish Youth Parliament asks a question from the rostrum of the Folketing to be replied by the Minister for Taxation, Holger K. Nielsen. The Danish Youth Parliament is held every second year by the Danish Parliament. The 179 seats are taken by Danish secondary students, grades 8 and 9, invited to become politicians for one day. The purpose is to introduce the rules on which democracy is based in order to increase understanding of the processes leading to democratic decisions and to understand the interplay between the democratic decision-making processes.
