This tough rubbery nudibranch with white body and dark brown black dots splotches is very common on coralline algae in the Mediterranean It moves very slowly and uses its radula to scrape and file the rich surface of the algae despite its calcareous protection The light dicoloured spots in this picture shows areas which have already been grazed
