Paramount Studios, Los Angeles, California, USA, as seen by the Ikonos satellite. Paramount Studios, founded in 1913, is the longest continually operating film studio in Hollywood. The studios are bordered by the Hollywood Memorial Park on the north (centre of image), Melrose Avenue on the south, Van Ness Avenue on the east and Gower Street on the west. Ikonos is the first commercial satellite to collect data at one-metre resolution.
