Some of the attractions such as the Oriental temple in Tivoli Gardens and Christmas lights as part of the Julemarked (Christmas market) in Copenhagen in Denmark. The Oriental temple is a Japanese Pergoda Temple. It was built in 1900 by the Danish architect Knud Arne Petersen, who had just been appointed director of Tivoli. The tower is built as an illumination tower to light up Tivoli in the evening, and to spread colourful reflections on the narby boating lake.
