White Lady Bushman Painting
The White Lady bushman painting was discovered by German Missionary Theophilus Hahn in 1891. The unique painting is situated in the Brandburg Mountain range in the inhospitable Damara region of Namibia. Tourist access is difficult and now restricted, making this photograph taken with 35 mm 15 ASA Kodachrome colour film even more extraordinary. The painting is over 3000 years' old and its original and unique colour has been a subject of much controversy.
