The fulmars are very greedy of fatty substances, and constantly attend the whale-fishery to feed upon the blubln'r. F, g. paci'flcus. (Lat. jmcijicus, pacific.) Pacific Fitlmak. Averaging darker than No. 814, the mantle bluisii-cinereous rather tiian pale pearly-blue; tiie bill rather weaker and strongly hooked. N. Pacific, in vast numbers.
