Six choice varieties named. 15 cts. each, § per doz. Alocasia Sandbriana. AGAPAIVTHUS (Blue Lily of the Nile.) This is a splendid ornamental plant, bearing clusters of bright blue flowers on long flower stalks and lasting a long time in bloom. There is no finer plant for outdoor decoration, planted in large pots or tubs on the lawn, ter- race or piazza. It does well in the house or greenhouse in winter, a rapid grower, and increases in size and beauty every year; the chief point in its cultivation is to divide the plants before the pots or tubs become overcrowded with roots. With ordinary care it is a plant that will last forever. Strong flowering plants. 2o cts. each, $2 50 per doz. AGAPANTHUS AEBUS, A beautiful white flowering variety of the above. 50 cts. each. AEOCASIA SANDERIANA. The most beautiful and striking of the genus. The leaf is arrow-shaped with deeply toothed margin, which, like the veins and mid-ribs, are creamy- white, while the body of the leaf is deep glossy green with metallic-blue reflection. A very rare plant of recent introduction. (See cut.) each. AEOCASIA lEEUSTRIS An excellent plant to grow in connection with fancy-leaved Caladiums or for planting in the open border in a partly shaded position. The foliage is large, of a dark green, clouded with a velvety blue-black. 15 cts. each, $ der doz. â (104)
