Wekuowof nothing more satisfactory for drooping over the edges of baskets, vases, etc. We offer two best varieties: V. Harrisonii. Dark green foliage. 6 cents. V. Variegata. Green, margined white. 6 cts. VERONICA. A pretty winter blooming plant, producing spikes of fine purple-lilac flowers. They delight in a mixture of leaf-mould and loam, and with root room speedily become very fine specimens. Price, 6 cents each. VI© Of all delightful perfumes, that of the violet is the most delicate and pleasing. Violets are now one of our fashionable flowers, and deservedly so. They delight in a moist, shady location, and with proper care will bloom profusely during spring and also during autumn. If wanted'for winter blooming, they should be lifted in autumn and grown in a frame or in pots in a cool room, as they will not stand much fire-heat. They are generally considered hardy, although in the Northern States a covering of leaves, is benefic ial. We offer only a few of the most desirable varieties. New Single Violet, California.
