As I looked at house after house of modern iron construction thrown upon the screen, I marveled that such a transformation could take place in little more than thirty years. We often hear of romance in business; did you ever stop to think that no other industry in this country today can boast of the same romantic progress as the florists' industry? The history of Gude Bros. Co. is just a repetition of that of nearly every suc- cessful florists' establishment in the country. Besides possessing executive ability of the highest order, William F. and Adolph Gude find their recreation in the jiroduction of high-grade flowers.
