A Caucasian silver shashka with niello decoration,circa 1900 A single-edged blade with triple fullers on each side and a double-edged point. Embossed silver grip with fine niello decoration. The leather covered wooden scabbard has elaborate silver mountings embossed en suite on the obverse side. All mountings are stamped with the "84" zolotniki hallmark on the reverse side. Two side-mounted suspension rings. Later leather cover.
