Spc. Joseph Smith plots his points before heading out to find them during the day land navigation portion on the 2017 Region 1 Best Warrior Competition. During the day land navigation course competitors had four hours to find 5 points. Land navigation was one of the events during the first day of the competition held at Ft. Dix, New Jersey.
