Occupational therapy. Tetraplegic (quadriplegic) woman using a blowgun under supervision as part of occupational therapy. She is blowing darts at targets on the wall at upper left. This is an enjoyable form of therapy which aims to increase lung power and improve abdominal muscle tone in those who are severely paralysed. It can also aid hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness. Tetraplegia is paralysis of all four limbs.
