Speaker with microphone at London demo by Pakistan Muslim League to protest suspension from Commonwealth.
A group of around 200 Pakistanis demonstrated opposite Downing St in London to show their support of President Musharraf after the decision by Commonwealth Foreign Ministers to suspend Pakistan from the Commonwealth after he had imposed emergency rule and sacked many judges. They carried postes and placards supporting Musharraf and former Prime Minister Ch Shujat Hussain, Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President. Many also carried Union Jacks or Pakistani flags and there were handwritten posters supporting Pakistan.
