The Taj Mahal at Agra is the Emperor Shahjehans great monument to his wife Nur Jehan who married him in 1612 and bore him 14 children till she died in childbirth It was begun in 1630 and finished in 1666 It is a master piece in marble the archway is more than 90 feet high and the royal tombs lie directly beneath it Emperor Shahjehan is also buried there
