In 1679 1brother, Benjamin Rice, conveyed to him land nehis house. Henry lived at what was called RicEnd in the adjoining town of Framingham, andbequeathed his house there to his son Jonath;Henry died February 10, 1710, and being older thhis brother Edward, must have been about ninethree years of age. His will was proved in Middsex county. His wife Elizabeth died at Framirham, August 3, 1705. Their children were: Maborn September 9, 1646; Elizabeth, August 4, 16married John Brewer; Jonathan, July 3, 1654; Agail, June 17, 1657, married Thomas Smith; Dav. :KT II. i WORCESTER COUNTY . I (III) David Rice, son of Henry Rice (2), was . born in Sudbury, iMassachusctts, December 27, was one of the original members and one of lliefirst deacons of the Framingham Church. He wasselectman of Framingham four years, town treas-urer two years, and was a leading citizen. His homestead was probably near that of the late DeaconLuther Havens. He died October 16, 172J, at Fram- 1 ingham. His heirs divided the property by mutualagreement. He married, April 7, 1687, HannahWalker, who died December 18, 1704.
