The old stock exchange, Børsen, flying the Danish flag from the turret openings to celebrate Valdemarsdag and Genforeningsdagen.

The old stock exchange flying the Danish flag, the Dannebrog, from the turret openings to celebrate Valdemarsdag (on this day in 1219 the Danish flag fell from the sky and led to victory in Estonia where the Danish King Valdemar Sejr fought against the Estonians according to the myth) - and Genforeningsdagen (day of reunion - Denmark was reunited with northern Schleswig, now Southern Jutland, on this day in 1920). The old stock exchange / bourse, Børsen, in renaissance style and the tower of twisted dragon tales. Roof and tower in verdigrised copper. View along the Slotholmsgade. The parliament building, the Christiansborg palace / castle in the background. New copper roof, not yet verdigrised. It is called the old stock exchange though it has been more a commodity bourse and not a stock exchange in history. Nowadays a building housing industrial and commercial companies.
