Purgativeswhich excite the liver an* bile to unnatural action must certainly pro-duce a reactive and weakening effect. The GILES method of treat-ment, which obviates the necessity of using any and all purgatives, re-moves all danger from these causes and keeps the liver in a healthy con-dition.
