During the last week the wholesale markets were in pretty good condition, with a good supply of everything sea- soiiiihle, but the demand was not strong. The (jiiality of the stock is not of the best, as the extra fancy grade is lim- ited to a few hundred blooms. The retailers say that all through the summer trade has been fairly good, the bulk of the work liaving been for fu- nerals, and that outside of this things were dull. The opening of the schools last week and the return of the wealthy tourists should make business more active this month. The grower
