An ambitious project to establisha memorial park and gardens sur-rounding the house itself is in theplanning stage. At Lees boyhood home in Alex-andria, the front fence is about to col-lapse from rot and will require an ex-pensive replacement. Much remainsto be done inside the house to re-store it to the original. The diningroom has been stripped to the lathsand we are about to start back withplaster and wallpaper. Jacksons home in Lexington is per-haps in the greatest need of recently completed architecturalfeasibility study recommended a res-toration program run
