Marines with Golf Company, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, III Marine Expeditionary Force, wait for orders during a patrol during military operations in urban terrain (MOUT), Marine Corps Training Area Bellows, Mar. 13, 2019. Golf improved their unit lethality by utilizing the MOUT facilities to interact with role players, engage in simulated fire fights and set up a defensive position. This exercise was the second stage of the battalion’s training event, Exercise Bougainville I, an annual training exercise that strengthens pre-deployment readiness.
