A high-power wire of the Ports- mouth electrical company is beingtapped about two miles from Dur-ham. In two or three weeks thecollege will be receiving from Ports-mouth its electricity, which will takethe place of that which is now beinggenerated by the college plant. Oneadvantage of this arrangement overthe present one, is that the collegeand the town will receive practicallya twenty-four hour Although it is still very early inthe season, and football practice isbarely begun, the indications are thatwe are to have one of the most suc-cessful teams in the history of thecollege.
