Rainbow over Insh Marshes. Insh Marshes National Nature Reserve located between Aviemore and Kingussie and managed by the RSPB is an important wetland habitat and at various times of year plays host to lapwings, redshanks,curlews,whooper swans, Heron, birds of prey and greylag geese. Roe Deer are also frequently spotted in the drier parts of area.
