Indonesia. 4th Nov, 2016. Hundreds of thousands of Muslims from various regions in Indonesia, rallied in front of the Presidential Palace. They demanded President Joko Widodo ordered the police to examine the Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama deemed to have abused Islam by calling one of the verses in the Quran have been used to dupe Muslims not to choose a leader other than Muslim. The protest ended with clashes between demonstrators and the police. A number of people were reported injured and two police vehicles were burned in the incident.
