A Flemish sword, circa 1650/60 Double-edged ridged blade, one side with a somewhat jagged edge. At the base of the obverse a punched, hard to read inscription. Iron hilt with thumb ring, S-shaped curved quillons and a finely pierced guard. Original grip and Turk's heads of twisted iron wire and a heart-shaped, flattened iron pommel. Hilt parts somewhat pitted.
