María Ignacia (main character of the Parranda de San Pedro), represented by a man dances with a child in his arms in front of the image of the saint during the festival. La Parranda de San Pedro is a festivity in honor of the apostle San Pedro in the town of Guatire, Miranda state in Venezuela. This tradition is more than 200 years old and every June 29 is celebrated, it was declared by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2013.
