Jennifer Vickery, the wife of the incoming commander of the 1st Battalion, 18th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, holds a bouquet of yellow roses during a 1-18 Inf. Reg. change of command ceremony May 12, 2022 on Fort Riley, Kansas, Cavalry Parade Field. Yellow is the color of joy and friendship. Mrs. Vickery was given the roses to symbolize the relationship between the Soldiers and the Family Readiness Group.
