Otovicia, also known as Walchia, is a small, now extinct conifer that belongs to the class Pinopsida, more commonly known as Conifers. Otovicia has rigid, overlapping leaves, short, usually not larger than 8 mm. Pinopsida are generally characterized by small and simple leaves and by the active secondary growth of stem and root. Many members of this group flourished from the Lower Carboniferous up to the Permian period. Actual height is 145 mm. Provenance not known.
