York Floods December 2015
York was flooded by the River Foss on Christmas Day 2015. Boxing Day was calm and sunny with blue skies. Everything was calm. The flood waters were still. Stillness filled the flooded city. It all looked quite beautiful. There was no sense of the devastation occurring to people's lives and businesses. It was quite surreal.
