Capped Wheatear, Oenanthe pileata


The Capped Wheatear is a bird associated with open grasslands and is poften seen perched on a suitable vantage-point ,such as a termite mound, where the male will advertise his presence for hours on end. They migrate around the region following rainfall and food supplies.
