Double Peony flowered 30 Iceland Poppies (Papaver Nudicaule) While these are hardy perennials, they flower the first year from seed, blooming almost as quickly as the annual sorts. They are of graceful neat habit, with bright green fern-like foliage, formed in tufts, from which issues slender stalks about 15 inches high, bearing their brilliant flowers in endless profusion; most useful for cutting, for which purpose pick when in bud, and, if the seed pods are picked off, continue in flower the entire season.
