Head, thorax, and abdomen black-brown. Fore wing clothed with rough dark brown androconia to the postmedial line except the costa and discoidal stigma, the terminal area blue-black; the discoidal stigma whorl-shaped, its centre with large black lunule on outer side and brown-red on inner side with silvery blue irroration and two points on it and defined on inner side by black, the outer part of the whorl grey-green with a slight curved dark line on it; postmedial line white, arising belovv costa, obliijue to below vein 6 where it is slightly angled, angled outwards to near termen below vein 4, then incurved and ending at vein 1 ; veins 4 to 1 often slightly streaked with white on terminal area; the termen and cilia white. Hind wing clothed with rough dark-brown androconia to the postmedial line, the terminal area blue-black ; postmedial line white, strong, oblique towards costa and angled.
